Steris and Varlance are directing the evacuation and preparations at the city docks when eight Ghostblood Coinshots arrive to offer their assistance. Steris starts giving detailed orders to everyone present. Varlance is amazed at the depth of her contingency planning, and tells her that her talents have been previously wasted. Steris orders the cargo ships in the harbor to be sunk to slow the tsunami's flow, but is told that it will take too long, as some ships do not have radios and must be sailed to to convince their captains in person, and then longer to effect the sinking. The members of the Ghostbloods offer their services, and Steelpush into the air to go to sink the ships.
