—Bagsworth's Law[1]

Cecil G. Bagsworth III is the author of several books about interdimensional travel, as well as the editor of Alcatraz Smedry's autobiographies.[2][3][4] In addition, he is the editor of A Night of Blacker Darkness.[5]

History

At some point, Bagsworth participated in the Micronization War. In 2085, the year after the invention of interdimensional travel, Bagsworth was recruited for a government-sponsored Middle Ages expedition. There, he won a jousting tournament, introduced electricity, and earned the trust of Henry II.[6][1]

In 2102, he published My Lives: An Autobiography of Cecil G. Bagsworth III, The First Interdimensional Wizard.[6] At some point, he also founded Frugal Wizard Inc. and published The Frugal Wizard's Handbook for Surviving Medieval England as well as its companion volume, Science for Wizards.[1]

Trivia

  • Cecil is a character originally invented by Dan Wells;[7] he now appears in works of both Dan's and Brandon's.[8]
  • Cecil is based off of a person Brandon and Dan know. He attended Brandon's wedding wearing a top hat and monocle.[5]
  • He looks, by pure coincidence, exactly like Brandon's brother Jordan.[4]
