The First Song is one of the songs detailing the oral history of the listeners on Roshar. Often sung to the Rhythm of Memories, it is more of a chant than a real song. It is the original recitation of the listeners leaving Odium and his war. Venli prompted Jaxlim to sing it at one point to calm her agitation.[1]
