It may be a variation of the Surge of Adhesion: the wings of windspren may be a Lashing that binds the windspren together and to Kaladin, while the calming of the winds themselves may be a result of Kaladin's infusion of the windspren with Light, similar to a [[Diminishers|Diminisher fabrial|Diminishers]].
