The armies of [[Straff Venture]], [[Ashweather Cett]] and the [[Koloss]] army of [[Jastes Lekal]] besiege [[Luthadel]] and King [[Elend Venture]]'s throne. Elend gets deposed and the city raises [[Ferson Penrod]] to be king. [[Vin]] intimidates the opposition, but eventually is persuaded to leave to seek the Well of Ascension as the battle comes to a head. When she realizes that the Well is in Luthadel, she returns and starts controlling the [[Koloss]] using emotional Allomancy and routs Straff's army.

The armies of Straff Venture, Ashweather Cett and the Koloss army of Jastes Lekal besiege Luthadel and King Elend Venture's throne. Elend gets deposed and the city raises Ferson Penrod to be king. Vin intimidates the opposition, but eventually is persuaded to leave to seek the Well of Ascension as the battle comes to a head. When she realizes that the Well is in Luthadel, she returns and starts controlling the Koloss using emotional Allomancy and routs Straff's army.
