Her first assignment as a knight was escorting [[Leavenworth Smedry]] into the Hushlands to retrieve Alcatraz. After breaking her sword and touching her mother's sword, she was put on trial by the knights. She defeated [[Archedis]] and was reinstated . She was put into a coma by the Librarians at the end of the [[Siege of Mokia]]. In the note at the end of book five her name is signed 'Bastille Smedry' meaning she and Alcatraz could have gotten married making her a Smedry.
