Chicken is the name used for all bird species native to Shinovar, on Roshar.[1] Some are in fact chickens.[citation needed]
Vstim trades with Thresh and potentially other Shin for chickens which he sells to the other nations of Roshar, and particularly in the east, according to Rysn.[2]
They are often edible.[3] Adolin Kholin is known to eat chicken before duels.[4]
