After [[Shallan Davar]] began trying to infiltrate the [[Ghostbloods]], one of the tasks assigned to her by [[Mraize]] was to retrieve something from a hole in an unusual tree next to a pathway in [[Shattered Plains|Sebarial's warcamp]]. Shallan sketched the tree, but she was unsure of the species. She thought it might have been a variety of dendrolith based on its bark, but it had long, thin fronds that were more similar to those of a [[dalewillow]]. She also mentioned that the fronds could retract, like other plants on Roshar such as [[frillbloom]]. [[Iyatil]] soon informed Shallan that the package in the tree contained additional instructions about her mission.{{book ref|sa2|63}}
