Elantrian

Template:Magical Entities The Elantrians are a race of incredible grace and beauty that reside in the city of Elantris. People of Aonic descent, mainly from Arelon or Teod can become Elantrians by passing through the Shaod. After going through this change, they receive physical and mental changes as well as the ability to access the Dor through the drawing of Aons in the air.

Physical Changes

Elantrians have "brilliant white" hair and "metalic silver" skin and appear to shine with an inner light.

Their heightened abilities enable them to recover from many wounds at will. They can also use their power prolong their life well beyond that of an normal human.

Mental Changes

Elantrians have increased "insight."

Magical Abilities

Elantrians have access to AonDor, a symbol based magic that can be used in seemingly limitless ways. By drawing specific symbols, usually in the air, Elantrians were capable of instantaneous travel, healing, turning garbage to food, creating light, creating fire, creating a telescope made of air, creating disguises, etc.

It should be noted that their power seems to diminish the further they travel from the city of Elantris.
