Many years later Riina came into the possession of a [[Sorceress's tower|spaceship]] and used it to travel to Lumar, part of her motive to do this was because of her opinion of the planet being unimportant and the fact that no one on the planet could oppose her in any meaningful way.{{book ref|Tress|64}}{{book ref|Tress|60}} Whilst there she set up her defences and the locals noticed her presence on the planet, over the years she earned the title of ''Sorceress''.
