Hey there Monarch, it's great to have you on board. Your recent additions have been awesome thanks so much! I 'reverted' your completion's as that is under the staffs discretion. OK then hey

So I am new to this type of layout for a site, not sure if there is another more personal way to message you so this will have to do for now.

Firstly I have been putting in edits for quite a while now, but have just recently decided to actually make an account but thanks for the welcome anyways. Already have loads of edits under my belt but they are attributed to my I.P. instead I believe.

Secondly I decided to leave Hashal and Matal as being completed since they do not show up anymore and are not mentioned again in the second book. Didn't realise that layout was also taken into account when deciding what is or isn't a completed article. Also I thought that setting it to be completed but not reviewed was like flagging it for admins to review it.

Thirdly, I am fairly certain that Fleets page is done with. Whenever Hoid tells a story it seems that he tells a completely different story for each person he talks to and it depends on what he wants to say i.e. he makes them up on the spot to fit what he wants to get across to someone (his stories in Warbreaker notwithstanding ofc) Seems to me Fleet is a character which has been made up by Hoid just for talking to Kal and is even based on him. Your thoughts on this? -- Monarch

* I'm still really glad you've made an account, it's great that your contributions will now be associated with you rather than an anonymous IP.
* your rationale for completion is correct, but we prefer to leave it saying that it's nearly complete until we've had a chance to review it. the sections wouldn't technically be required but I think those articles are long enough that they deserve to be sectionized.
* I still think there's more info to add onto Fleet's page, for example his description could be worded into the article proper rather than just leaving it as a quote, and things like that. Also a description of Hoid's techniques, and relations to other stories (particularly that this is told differently to others) might be good.

Am I doing it correctly now?

Firstly I have tried using italics as suggested in the formatting section but it doesn't seem to work? Bold text works fine as does bold AND italics but italics on its own either does not show at all or is so feint that I cannot even notice it.

Secondly, any idea how to format the Stormfathers way of talking? If I were to add in a quote or two to him I would want to do it in the same text format as is used for him in the books (similar to Death in pterry books).

: that's as good as any other way, you can sign posts with <nowiki>--~~~~</nowiki>, italics will look like ''this'' and it wont show up in the {{t|quote}} template because that already is italics. for the [[Stormfather]] I'd say go ALLCAPS, or <span style='font-variant: small-caps'>Small Caps</span>, --11:28, 12 November 2015 (MST)

What is up with signing posts with "<nowiki>--~~~~</nowiki>"?
Yes that is the same way I tried to use italics.It works when you do it here but not in my articles even when I confirm the changes?
I will go with small caps then, ty for letting me see the proper formatting for it.

Alright great.Can I get some help with the article for [[Chanarach]]? For some odd reason it adds in a quotation mark in there where I never put one, for the "History" section.

If you don't mind could you check why the first quote at the top of the page for the [[Stormfather]] acting the way  it is? I think it has something to do with the Small Text formatting somehow clashing with quotation formatting? Thanks

Does it affect the wiki syntax? If it does I will just have to make a habit out of it.
I just don't.I never really thought of it.I think the only reason I add one after commas is due to microsoft word otherwise underlining it in red but it doesn't do that for full stops so I never picked it up I guess.
Also thankyou for clearing up the [[Jezrien]] page.How exactly do you do that anyways?

-It would be much preferred if you did, it doesn't affect the wiki but it does make it different to read than every other English language document. Sorry for asking you to do something you're not used to.
