Timeline

• First Dreams is discovered by Smta, prompting Queen Navani Kholin to put out a request for an expedition
• Windrunners Leyten, Lyn, and Sigzil encounter a hordeling in the weather pattern around Akinah
• The First Dreams is brought to port in Thaylen City to undergo repairs
• Talik relays information to Rysn Ftori from Relu-na about Chiri-Chiri
• Rysn tours the First Dreams
• Queen Fen writes to Navani regarding the expedition
• Rysn travels to Urithiru to meet with Navani and negotiate and agree on the terms of the expedition
• Fen sends a writ to the crew of the Wandersail regarding the expedition
• After Lopen meets with Ral-na and Talik, Kaladin speaks with Lopen regarding the mission and Lopen volunteers. Lopen then speaks with Huio and Cord about the expedition, and reports to Rushu to be briefed on confidential details about the expedition from Navani

• Chiri-Chiri follows luckspren underwater; Lopen and Rushu investigate the city of Akinah and discover the Oathgate in an underground cavern; Huio and sailors from the Wandersail crew are attacked by Nikli's giant hordeling on Akinah's beach; the crew of the Wandersail are surrounded by Nikli and other hordelings; Rysn and Cord escape and are guided to the Dawnshard by luckspren; Lopen, Huio, and sailors from the Wandersail battle giant hordelings and Huio swears the Third Ideal of the Windrunners; Rysn becomes the Dawnshard, Nikli and two other Sleepless enter the caverns, and Rysn and Cord negotiate a treaty with Nikli
