True Desolation
The coming of the True Desolation, the Everstorm, or the Night of Sorrows over Roshar was predicted a few times in The Way of Kings.
In Dalinar's visions he was warned of its coming.
Talenel, one of the Heralds, appeared in Kholinar and claimed that he had failed to uphold the Oathpact.
