Rock thought that he was a highspren, such that he worships. In Oathbringer, voidbringers create a blockade surrounding it in the cognitive realm. The spren are hesitant to travel there for that reason. Azure, however, decides to travel there anywaysanyway, splitting away from Kaladin, Shallan, and Adolin. No further information about it has been presented as of yet.
