Honor Chasm
Type Chasm
Region The Shattered Plains
World Roshar

Honor Chasm was a chasm in the Shattered Plains on Roshar. It began narrow but became wider and deeper as it ran east. The edge of the chasm was down an incline. Six ladders were set up to allow bridgemen to go down into the chasms.

It was located a short distance from Sadeas warcamp.

The Honor Chasm, the bridgemen called it, for it was the place where they could make the one decision left to them. The honorable decision. Death.

Kaladin's thoughts on the chasm.[1]

It was the only place that Sadeas' bridge crews were allowed to visit unsupervised and was used to commit suicide. Gaz preferred that the bridgemen leave their sandals and vest if they chose to go to the Honor Chasm so he didn't have to send someone down to fetch the clothing.

Mentions

Kaladin made a trip to the chasm, meaning to jump from it, but was distracted by the return of Syl and ended up returning to the camp with renewed purpose.

The night before Kaladin joined Bridge Four its bridgeleader had tossed himself over the chasm.
