The River Vandonas is possibly a tributary of the [[Deathbend River]], as it flows past where the [[Parshendi]] lived before the [[War of Reckoning]], and [[Gavilar]] and [[Dalinar]] discovered the Parshendi while exploring a tributary of the Deathbend.{{book ref|twok|28}}
