The '''Unclaimed Hills''' were part of the [[Frostlands]] bordering [[Alethkar]] to the east.
[[Gavilar]] made an expedition to the Unclaimed Hills. The expedition encountered the [[Parshendi]]. This encounter lead to their discovery of [[chasmfiend]]s, the source of the Parshendi's gems. The [[Shattered Plains]] were in the Unclaimed Hills.
The hills were rocky, covered with tough, retractable grasses, spiny plants, and scrub.
