[[Gavilar]] proposes an expedition to the Unclaimed Hills, where they encounter Parshendi with gemstones woven in their beards, which leads to their discovery of [[chasmfiend]]s, the source of the Parshendi's gems. The [[Shattered Plains]] are in the Unclaimed Hills. The hills are rocky, covered with tough, retractable grasses, spiny plants, and scrub.▼
