Attributes and Abilities
Crow is a severe figure with a black feathered hat.[1] She is one of the best shots known to Hoid.[2] Crow was a spore eater, which is a symbiosis granting extensive defensive abilities.[3] She commands her crew with intimidation and control. She is also able to best several people in an attempted mutiny without using these powers. She uses midnight essence to spy on the crew members. She must remain close to Xisisrefliel to keep the verdant spore in remission.[4]
History
Crow becomes captain of Crow's Song and convinces the crew to turn to piracy as an alternative to participating in the King's war against the Sorceress. In collusion with Laggart, she plans to cross the line from piracy (for tribute) to deadrunning (extirpation) which will make the entire crew into outlaws among outlaws. Though Tress foils this plan, Crow conserves her with the plan to exchange Tress' services for Crow being healed from spore eating.
