A '''Greatshell''' was a type of large, crustacean-like animal native to [[Roshar]].

Larger species have a large gem inside of them, called a [[Gemheart]].
Greatshells are usually wild and hunted for their gemhearts, edible meat and carapace, although some species are domesticated.
