Hallandren’s main source of income are the dyes made from the [[Tears of Edgli]].{{book ref|wb|32}} These flowers can only be grown in Hallandren, and as such the Hallandren people have a monopoly on them. The Tears of Edgli make excellent dyes, and are far cheaper to produce then other dyes.{{book ref|wb|32}} For these reasons, as well as their use in awakening, they are very desired, far more so then other dyes.{{book ref|wb|32}}
