If you want to link to another article in the Coppermind, enclose the title of that article in double square braces. For example, if you want to link to the page about axehounds, you would type
<nowiki> [[axehound]]s</nowiki>
to get the link [[axehound]]s. <!-- This section should be expanded to also talk about linking indirectly to pages and for external links-->

If you want to make your link have a different text than the article it links to, you would type
<nowiki> [[allomancy|burning metals]]</nowiki>
to get the link [[allomancy|burning metals]] which redirects to the page on [[Allomancy]].

A general purpose external link footnote can be created by using the syntax
<nowiki>{{ref|text=en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brandon_Sanderson}}</nowiki>
which will produce a footnote{{ref|text=en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brandon_Sanderson}} which links to the site specified by the "text=" tag.
