The crem gives the tree its light brown color and rocklike texture. They are relatively tall trees, and they have particularly strong branches. The leaves of the tree are long and thin, with a needle-like appearance. The leaves are brightly colored in yellow, red, pink, and orange, resembling fiery explosions of color.
