== Attributes and Abilities ==
As a Kandra, she possesses the ability to shapeshift into various different forms around her True Body. She is also an immortal being, able to live for centuries, and survive wounds that would be fatal to most biological entities, she is also capable of turning off her pain receptors.{{book ref|mb6|24}} She is capable of reforming her body to unlock simple locks.{{book ref|bom|29}} And like all Kandra she can make her flesh go transparent in order to reveal her True Body.
She has various True Bodies made out of various materials, such as emerald and [[aluminum]]. She sometimes uses ones with hidden weapons, such as swords in her arms.{{book ref|mb6|16}} She can also store guns in her body, which she can pull out at will. Unlike most kandra, she doesn't necessarily follow the First Contract, and thus has little qualms about killing.

TenSoon essentially raised MeLaan,{{book ref|mb2|20}}{{wob ref|7510}} and she is roughly considered to be his daughter or little sister.{{wob ref|670}} As a result of his gruffness and adventurousness, sometime before the Catacendre, she began to hero-worship him in a way that bordered on romantic attraction and made TenSoon very uncomfortable.{{wob ref|7510}} They still appear to be close after the Catacendre, with MeLaan noting he would be proud
