Melu is a listener.
She is one of Eshonai's stormforms, who helped Eshonai and Venli to count the listener population.[2] Like the other listener stormforms, she likely participates in the Battle of Narak.[citation needed] She survives to then be possessed by the Fused Aharat, effectively killing her.[1] Just prior to her death she questioned Ulim if the group of singers following Venli should seek shelter from the Everstorm which brought the Fused.
