It is possible, since she is the Midnight Mother and has "essence", that she is related to [[Midnight Essence]].
 
During their confrontation in the library within Urithiru, Re-Shephir was protecting a pillar covered with cut gemstones. This would imply she was attempting to avoid being trapped like Nergaoul would be later on in [[Oathbringer]]. Re-Shephir was forced out after their confrontation, and fled the tower in fear. Her whereabouts are unknown.
