Rockbuds are a plant with a rock-like shell on Roshar. The term refers to an entire family of plants as well as to a single plant: The "True" or "Common" Rockbud.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; refs with no name must have content

The shell protects the more sensitive organism within from Highstorms. Just after the storm, tendrils reach out of the bud to lap up the water on the ground.
