* The Stormfather has two different "modes" of speech. He uses {{small caps|small caps}} when talking to those unbonded to him, or when speaking so that everyone can hear him. He speaks normally when communicating directly with [[Dalinar]] after the latter becomes a Bondsmith.{{book ref|sa3|4}} Interestingly, there are only five other characters shown speaking in small caps — [[Cultivation]],{{book ref|sa3|114}} [[Odium]] when he tells Dalinar {{small caps|we killed you}}{{book ref|sa3|119}} as well as when he speaks to [[Vyre]],{{book ref|sa4|i|4}} [[Syl]] when about to be resurrected by [[Kaladin]].{{book ref|sa2|84}} Dalinar when Connecting Kaladin to Tien,{{book ref|sa4|108}} and [[Preservation]] when he tells [[Kelsier]] {{small caps|not your toys}} and {{small caps|survive}} when he gives him the Shard.{{msh ref|6|4}}
