This template should generally be used without parameters. However, there is one parameter that is intended for use by the Coppermind's [[Coppermind: Keepers|Keepers]]. They have a special gadget which replaces the {{t|complete}} template with a signed variant and adds the article to [[:Category: Complete articles]] instead of [[:Category: Articles nearing completion]].
When {{t|complete}} is used the status icon shows a ◕ three-quarter filled circle, while a reviewed article shows a <span style='color: green;'>&#
