Vartian is a lighteyes in the Sadeas warcamp on the Shattered Plains of Roshar during the War of Reckoning.[1]
Adolin Kholin described Vartian as one of Sadeas's lazy sycophants. Vartian spoke with Lomard about how Dalinar and his sons were not winning any gemhearts, purposefully saying it within earshot of Adolin.[1]
