During the [[siege of Kholinar]] Yokska and her husband provide a place for [[Elhokar]]'s rescue party to hide and plan how to open the [[Oathgate]]. Yokska is able to give them much needed information on what is happening in the city. Just before the assault on the palace [[Adolin]] instructed Yokska to flee towards the [[Shattered Plains]] if the city fell. [[Elhokar]] then gives Yokska their spanreed and told her to attempt to contact Urithiru shortly after the battle starts and let them know what is happening, even at the risk of being caught by screamers.{{book ref|sa3|83}} She did contact [[Dalinar]] as asked. Because the city fell, her report was cut short by screamers and the Fused. Her fate is unknown as of [[Oathbringer]].
